First one of 2013

Thought as I'd now sewn and created several items I really should update and share my blog.

About time I updated this.

Well, still sewing and creating things but a new arrival in my 'sewing room' has taken over for a while.  She's tabby and white.  Hopefully once she settles down she'll be a nice companion when I have the sewing machine out.

Finally also moved on to basic dressmaking, we shall see what it turns out like!

Also need to knuckle down with some more studying, and focus on next TMA.

January tidings..

well working on a few projects now, including a new job and new course with the OU.  So I'm going to be rather busy, which is no bad thing.  Beats sitting in front of the TV all night!

More project pics to follow, just haven't updated everything yet.

Nearly Christmas..

no sewing so far this week, need to finish a couple of projects.  Cards all done & sent.  Didn't make them this year- maybe next.
Withdrawn from current course, will be looking at something else to start in Jan/Feb hopefully.

essay number two under way..

just need to remove a few hundred words before submitting.  Haven't done any sewing since Monday, missing it already so will probably get set up again and restart.  Want to get bag finished..

Gray Saturday

well, so much for the sun coming out today.  So far still grey and dull and cold.  A typical November day.
However - I have picked about 5 raspberries!  Strange.

Today I'm going to plan out a cat bed, based on one we already have.  Also may try another couple of hats using different fabric.
